At the Streetlight:

Yellow— That color betwixt grass and fire, Emblem of morn's hope and sundry storm, Seeps into my vision, Causing panic, Urging decision, Arousing memory. Bump bump— Stay or go? Gallop gallop— Sound the riven roads, Whether forked or straight, But never answer. Silence echoes within. In every yellow lamp, I see A mirror held to nature; As it were, choices arise— Consequences ensue, People change, Regardless of rank, As on, all on, life's journey.
